Boy Scout Troop 77 Middletown recently attended Camp Yawgoog in Rockville for a week of summer camp. Scouts participated in activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, riflery, ropes course, fishing and a bake-off competition. The eight Boy Scouts earned a total of 24 merit badges that week including Lifesaving, Camping, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Citizenship in the World and Astronomy. Troop 77 Middletown participates in weekend campouts and activities like white-water rafting and a Washington D.C. trip throughout the year.
