On June 18, Julian Bonder, the architect for the Middle Passage Port Marker will give a design presentation for the public at Liberty Square across from the Whitehorse Tavern, at noon.
Co-founders Victoria Johnson and Peter Fay, along with the steering committee, invited members of the community to attend an information session to learn more about the project. Bonder will give other talks on June 21 and June 23 at the Florence Gray Senior Center, from 2 to 4 p.m., on June 25 at Liberty Square at noon, and, June 27 and 28, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Newport Library.
