The Aquidneck Island Nature Collaborative has launched the 2019 Aquidneck Island Family Passport Challenge. The summer long program challenges families and individuals of all ages to explore the island and collect passport stamps from sites, events and locations along the way. Passports with five or more stamps can be returned to Save The Bay’s Exploration Center and Aquarium to be entered in a raffle for a prize basket. The free Family Passport Challenge brochure includes a map of Aquidneck Island, highlights 11 locations across the island, includes information about the sites and offers a family-friendly summer events calendar. The challenge can be picked up at Discover Newport and the Norman Bird Sanctuary. A link to download is available on the AINC Facebook page (facebook.com/AINCRI). Questions can be directed to Save The Bay’s education director, Bridget Prescott, at bprescott@savebay.org or by calling 401-272-3540 x137.
