Thompson Teachers on Leave
The Newport School Department notified the Teacher’s Association of Newport on Thursday, Feb. 6 that it is investigating an educator for alleged “bullying and harassment” of Thompson Middle School Principal Xavier Barrios. Several teachers have now been put on paid leave. At this time, Barrios is also on paid leave. This is a developing story.
