AARP Free Tax Help



Free income tax preparation will be offered at 11 sites in Newport County by the AARP Foundation Tax Aide Program beginning in February through April 18. All sites are walk-in. It is not necessary to be an AARP member to take advantage of this help. The service is available to people of all ages with low and moderate incomes.

Community Project Grants Available



The Newport Health Equity Zone (NHEZ) is inviting Newport residents to submit a project proposal that will improve the quality of life for Newport residents.
