Bluewater, a global water technology leader and advocacy brand, installed three types of public hydration stations at the Newport Volvo Ocean Race Village. The water stations will provide drinking water free of contaminants, promote clean ocean health and reduce single-use plastics during the race’s stopover in Newport. Bluewater hydration stations can deliver up to 1,850 gallons of clean water every day, which means visitors using their own sustainable containers can save around 14,000, 16.9-ounce plastic bottles.
