Grimm Spectaculathon

The Rogers High School Theatre Company puts the finishing touches on its production of “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon!” The family-friendly, rollicking comedy, which invites lots of audience participation, will be performed Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Rogers High School Auditorium. The show, by Don Zolidis, is based on classic fairy tales recorded by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in 1812. “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon!” weaves many of the Grimm Brothers’ 209 stories, with well-known characters such as Snow White, Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Rapunzel and Rumplestiltskin, into one fast-paced production. Above, Mia Stevenson and Elana Lahoud portray Hansel and Gretel, awaiting their fate at the hands of the witch, Jillyan Frederick. Tickets will be available at the door for $5, general admission.
