For What It’s Worth

Pictured is a leather case with a silver plated box brought in by a visitor who wanted to know its purpose. Readers who are familiar with “The Hunt” in England would know that it is a sandwich case. Made by Swaine & Briggs, London; they’ve been around for over 250 years. This example is missing the flask, but still as a hunting collectible it is worth around $150.
