For What It’s Worth

There is Wedgwood and then, there is Wedgwood. Pictured is a piece of not very old, sort of mass produced and modestly valued Wedgewood. It was brought in by a local who inherited a lot of pieces and was a little disappointed in my estimated value of under $50 for the pictured dish. With Wedgwood, age relates to value: the older the more valuable. On the bright side, they inherited a cabinet full of similar examples and it didn’t cost them anything, so they are ahead of the game!
