St. Barnabas Festival

St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, will hold its annual festival from Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25. 401-683-1343.

Emmanuel Church Intergenerational Supper

Healing Sound Journey

Heal the noise of everyday chaos through a restorative immersion into the powerful frequencies of Tibetan and quartz crystal singing bowls, flutes, gongs, ocean drums, rain sticks, rattles and didgeridoos. All are welcome. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 27, at 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 12 Marlborough St. Suggested donation, $15. 401-846-0966.

Four Faiths Tour

There will be a walking tour of three houses of worship on Tuesday, June 27, from 1-3 p.m. The tour starts at Touro Synagogue, Touro Street. Visitors can explore the Loeb Center, admission included in the ticket. To fully enjoy the exhibits, it is suggested you arrive at 12:30 p.m. After visiting Touro Synagogue, visitors will be escorted down Spring Street to Trinity Church and Newport Congregational Church. St. Mary’s Church is not included in the tour. Tours including all four venues will take place on Tuesdays, July 11-Oct. 31, from 1-4 p.m., with the exception of July 4. Tickets are $21. Cluny School Mass of Thanksgiving

The public is invited to a Mass of thanksgiving and a reception to be held on the grounds of Cluny School, 75 Brenton Road, Friday, June 30, at 6 p.m., in celebration of the 60-year mission of the school and its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny.

Neighborhood Breakfast

Worship on the Beach

Calvary United Methodist Church, 200 Turner Road, Middletown, will hold worship at Third Beach at 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 2. The 10 a.m. worship will be held in the church. 401-847-6181.

First Freedom Open House

Celebrate the role of Newport’s historic religious communities in developing America’s commitment to freedom of religion on Tuesday, July 4. Thirteen buildings representing some of America’s most beautiful houses of worship and historic congregations will be open to visitors. ‘Bach and Friends' at Quarter Till Organ Recitals

The “Bach and Friends at Quarter Till” summer weekend organ recital series will be held on Saturdays and Sundays until Sept. 3 at Saint John’s Church, 61 Poplar St. Programs will be held on Saturdays at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., Sundays at 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. The concerts last for 15 minutes.
