Celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi

St. John’s Church, 61 Poplar St., will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi with a Solemn Evensong, outdoor procession and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament on Sunday, June 18, at 4 p.m. Weather permitting, the Sacrament will be carried around the block under the processional canopy. 401-848- 2561.

Book Group

‘Bach and Friends' at Quarter Till Organ Recitals

The “Bach and Friends at Quarter Till” summer weekend organ recital series will be held on Saturdays and Sundays until Sept. 3 at Saint John’s Church, 61 Poplar St. Programs will be held on Saturdays at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., Sundays at 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. The 15-minute concerts will highlight the organ music of J. S. Bach and Charles-Marie Widor. Admission is 25 cents or any amount you wish. 401-848-2561.
