Peace Circle

Join hands on Easton's Beach, Memorial Blvd., on Saturday, June 3, at 7 p.m., to stand side-by-side in silence, meditate or say a silent prayer for world peace.

Festival of Pipes

St. Mary’s Church, 12 William St., will have a Festival of Pipes on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4. After a 7-month restoration project, the 1,900-pipe organ will be unveiled on Saturday, June 3. There will be a lecture and recital at 2 p.m. as well as a reception at 3 p.m., and the first mass with the restored organ at 5:15 p.m. On Sunday, June 4, there will be choral masses at 9:30 and 11 a.m., and an organ concert at 4 p.m. 401-847-0475, stmarynewport.org.

Clear Out the Clutter

Gently used household items, jewelry, plants, antiques, or even sports equipment are wanted for the Central Baptist Church yearly June Festival on Saturday, June 17. Items may be dropped off on Saturday, June 3 or 10, from 9 a.m. to noon at the church, 99 Narragansett Ave., Jamestown. For more information, call 401-423-1651.
