‘Embracing the Cure’ Fair

Embracing the Cure’s 5th Vendor/ Craft Fair will be held Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at St. Lucy’s Parish Center, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. ‘A Day Apart’ Meditation Retreat

A meditation retreat will be held on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Barber Hall, 12 Marlborough St. The retreat will focus on emotional spirituality and maturity. A light lunch will be provided. Donations are welcomed. 401-846-0966.

Study of the Apostles’ Creed

A series of eight studies based on the Apostles’ Creed will be held on Sundays at 9 a.m., beginning May 7 and continuing through June, at Trinity Church on Queen Anne Square. The series is roughly based on Adam Hamilton's book, “Creed: What Christians Believe and Why.” Each session will include a short video presentation along with teaching and conversation led by Alan Neale, assisting priest at Trinity. 401-846-0660.

Shoreline Ringers Concert

The community handbell choir, based in Southern Conn., will perform secular and popular music on Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m., at Emmanuel Church, 42 Dearborn St. 401-847-0675.
