Jamestown Library to Review Design Proposal

The Jamestown Library Trustees Building Committee will review an initial proposal for the library renovation by Mohamed Farzan of Newport Architecture on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 5 p.m. at the library. The public is welcome to attend. The last renovation of the library was done 23 years ago.

The design proposal has resulted from the committee, consisting of library trustees, patrons, and the town planner holding open work sessions from Sept. 2015-May 2016. The committee also distributed a survey and hired an independent professional library planner for an in-depth needs assessment.

Visit the library’s website for more information, jamestownphilomenianlibrary.org.
