Intercessor’s Roundtable

On Saturday, Jan. 14, CrossPoint Church, 14 Rhode Island Ave., invites everyone to its third annual Intercessor’s Roundtable of Prayer. The discussion will focus on how this presidential election will affect the church, and how race and religion affected how people voted. Doors open at 9 a.m. for continental breakfast and lunch will be served. The event is open to the public at no charge. 401-846-3064.

'Discerning God's Will'

On Sunday, Jan. 15, Trinity Church, Queen Anne Square, will begin a three-week series discussing the process, problems and progress of decision making using key passages from the Bible to help us discern the will of God. The program will be held in Honyman Hall from 9-9:45 a.m., coffee will be served and all are welcome to attend. 401-846-0660.

Men's Bible Study at Seamen's Aloha Cafe

On Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:30 a.m., a small group of men meet at the Seamen's Church Institute, 18 Market Square, to consider, discuss and debate the relevance of the Bible for the 21stcentury, postmodern man. Among the subjects are love, commitment, family, and work as seen through the lens of the Old and New Testaments. Warm Up Wednesdays

The community is invited to St. Paul’s Church, 12 Marlborough St., for Warm Up Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. Hot soup, hot chocolate, coffee, tea and other refreshments will be served in a quiet, warm and relaxing environment. 401-846-0966.
