Wildlife Refuges Photo Competition Winners

In the 16th annual amateur photo competition of the Friends of the National Wildlife Refuges of Rhode Island, contestants submitted photos taken at Ninigret NWR, Trustom Pond NWR, Block Island NWR, Chafee NWR at Pettaquamscutt Cove, or Middletown’s Sachuest Point NWR.

Awards were presented at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife’s Kettle Pond NWR Visitors Center in Charlestown on Sept. 18. The exhibit will remain until Oct. 3. It will then move to Sachuest Point Visitors Center from Oct. 3 – 17.

The winners in the four categories are: Wildlife
