There's Something for Everyone

Kicking off the fall boat show season will be the 46th annual Newport International Boat Show, which returns to the Newport waterfront on Thursday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Exhibitors and visitors from around the world will see the latest boats and marine products with many making their debut in the U.S. market. One of the largest in-water boat shows in the U.S., the event will host nearly 750 exhibitors with a selection of boats of every type and style from 15 to 110 feet. Alongside these exhibits will be an opportunity for fun and educational activities for boating enthusiasts of all ages. Boat show visitors will be able to tour the 200-foot SSV Oliver Hazard Perry (OHP). She is the first fully-rigged, oceangoing Tall Ship to be built in America in over 100 years. The OHP will be docked on Perry Mill Wharf. Attendees must have a boat show wristband to board. General admission is $15, children under 12 are free.
