Joseph Richard Brady, 63, of Newport, passed away July 2, 2016 at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ellen S. Brady (Caswell). He leaves behind his daughter, Amy Hansen (John), and their four children of Jacksonville, Fla.; his daughter, Kathryn Brady, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his son, Joseph Brady III (Jennifer), of Middletown; and his longtime companion, Sheila Dunn. Dolores “Dolly” Sarah (Washburn) Chaplin, 87, of Portsmouth, passed away June 26, 2016. She leaves behind her husband, Arthur Chaplin (Chip), three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Todd Dupont, 39, of Westport, Mass., formerly of Newport, passed away suddenly June 27, 2016. He leaves behind his father, Ronald Dupont, and his godmother, Pauline Dijkstra of Portsmouth. Claire (Humes) Ernsberger, 77, of Newport, passed away June 30, 2016. She leaves behind three children and nine grandchildren. Donations in her memory may be made to PEO Chapter D, RI Scholarship Fund, 220 Island Dr., Middletown, RI 02842.

Dorothy Carr Quinn, 88, of Newport, passed away July 3, 2016 at Newport Hospital. She leaves behind three children. Calling hours will be 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, at O’Neill- Hayes Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Spring St., Newport. Beverly (Young) Rader, 77, of Portsmouth, passed away June 30, 2016. She was the wife of the late Leslie “Buck” Rader. She leaves behind four children. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 7, from 11 a.m-1 p.m. at Connors Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Edward J. Weyhing, 78, of Middletown, passed away June 29, 2016. He was the husband of Mary Weyhing. He was predeceased by his three sons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
