Holiday Cheer at Bowen’s Wharf

Thousands of sparkling lights will illuminate the 30-foot tree at the 45th annual Bowen’s Wharf Christmas tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. The whole family can join in caroling, meeting Frosty the Snowman, and Santa and Mrs. Claus at “The North Pole.”

Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with Frosty the Snowman. The Christmas carol sing-along begins at 5 p.m., the mayor lights the tree at 6 p.m., and Santa and Mrs. Claus will then arrive by boat (weather permitting). They will welcome children at their Newport “North Pole” berth at Bowen’s.

Two hours of validated parking are available from participating Bowen’s Wharf merchants all season. Celebrate the traditional sights, sounds and scents of Christmas with us at Bowen’s Wharf every day. For more information, visit bowenswharf.com.
