More than 280 guests enjoyed the Newport Art Museum's annual summer gala, A Beaux Arts Ball, held in the museum's historic John N.A. Griswold House. The event honored Robert Manice and his wife, Heidi, for the many ways the family has contributed over the years, including to the Cushing Gallery's restoration and various curatorial projects. He is also an active member of the museum's Collections Committee and an artist donor to Wet Paint, the museum’s next big annual event on Aug. 15-16.

A Beaux Arts Ball was co-chaired by Kristen Coates, Chris Wyllie, and Elizabeth Kahane, with support from the Gala Committee, Newport Art Museum Contemporaries and many generous sponsors and auction donors.

Following an elegant dinner, the ball was transformed into the "gala party" with an under the sea theme.
