FAITH COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD

1,000-Pound Goal

The garden harvest schedule for St. Mary’s Episcopal Church is currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at approximately 8:30 a.m., which helps meet food pantry schedules. Once vegetables are picked they will be weighed and logged before being packed for delivery. Bob Gessler will provide direction as to what needs to be picked. He also maintains the harvest and delivery log so that poundage can be tracked to see progress toward the 1,000-pound goal.

Other harvest times may be added as needed depending on progress and volunteer availability. Volunteers are needed to weed and water, as well as harvest. The garden has been treated with an organic tick prevention application, and supplies, including sunscreen and a first aid kit, can be found in the garden shed.
