Couture Exhibit and Show

Angela Moore and Leah Cann Angela Moore and Leah Cann Guests were given a rare look at the one-day only fashion exhibit curated by the Preservation Society at the Angela Moore Fashion Show held in July. That morning, Leah Cann donated her Maggie Norris Couture gown, above, to the Preservation Society's archives. Commissioned by Leah in 2002, Maggie Norris created a bespoke couture gown which is an exact replica of the Givenchy gown worn by Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961 during the State Dinner at Versailles.

Among the many looks: an Oscar de la Renta maxi dress worn by Oatsie Charles and several couture pieces worn by Newport style icons dating from 1955 through the decades.
