Linda H. Brodin

Linda H. (Hull) Brodin, 73, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Bertil W. Brodin. Born in Norwalk, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Arthur G. Hull and Gloria (Craig) Hull.

Mrs. Brodin worked as a real estate agent with Hogan & Stone until her retirement. She was the former president and member of the Jamestown Garden Club, a Master Gardener with URI, member of the Quononoquott Garden Club, Conanicut Yacht Club, member of the Jamestown PTO, and many weaving associations. She also served as a mentor for the Jamestown school system and volunteered as a big sister with the Big Sisters of the Ocean State.

Besides her husband, she leaves her two loving children: Kenneth C. Brodin and his wife, Maureen, of Jamestown and Dana M. Brodin and her partner, Courtney Peck, of Jamestown. She was the cherished grandmother of Emma Lennon, Kensie Lennon, and Abigail Brodin, all of Jamestown. She was the sister of Craig Hull of Georgetown, S.C., Timothy Hull of Jamestown, and Darcie A. Hull of Bellingham, Wash.

A Celebration of Life was held July 14, 2015 at the Conanicut Yacht Club. Burial in Cedar Cemetery was private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Dana- Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 will be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cranston- Murphy Funeral Home of Wickford.
