Fashion Through the Decades

The Preservation Society of Newport County and nationally known designer Angela Moore will host a fashion show and champagne brunch at Rosecliff on Thursday, July 9. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Preservation Society's mission to protect, preserve and present its collection of historic house museums and landscapes.

The theme of the show will be "Fashion through the Decades," celebrating the Society’s 70th anniversary. The show will feature a tribute to style icons who have influenced American fashion through the past several decades. Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot are among the icons who will be celebrated for their contributions to timeless style that translates to today’s fashions.

The show will include present day, fun resort fashions featuring new looks from Angela Moore, Manuel Canovas, Just Madras and Jack Rogers.

Plus, guests will also see an exclusive, curated exhibit of Preservation Society fashion archive looks that span the past seven decades and were worn by Newport style stars, including Doris Duke.
