Mary (McKenna) Bieber, 88, of Middletown, passed away April 13, 2015 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown. She was the wife of the late Robert Bieber. She leaves behind four children, ten grandchildren, and 12 greatgrandchildren. Donations in her name may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Rhode Island Chapter, P.O. Box 41659, Providence, RI 02940-1659.

Arthur A. Botelho, 86, of Middletown, passed away April 18, 2015 at the Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown. He was the husband of the late Florence (Langis) Botelho. Donations in his memory may be made to the RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.

Bonnie Adams Dugan, 51, of Newport, passed away April 15, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She leaves behind two children. A service was held at Memorial Funeral Home.

Henry P. Fletcher, 89, of Newport, passed away April 20, 2015 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown. He was the husband of the late Ingeborg Fletcher. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Calling hours will be Friday, April 24, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Home. His funeral will be Monday, April 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Portsmouth followed by burial with military honors. James Byron Gifford, 75, of Middletown, passed away April 14, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Agnes “Noni” (Beattie) Gifford. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He leaves behind his children, Nate Gifford of Middletown, and Dawn Graham (Larry) of Newport, and six grandchildren. Gertrude M. (Clifford) Halpin, 87, of Middletown, passed away April 15, 2015 at Blenheim-Newport, Middletown. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Halpin. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Ave., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.

Frank D. Maguire, 86, of Newport, passed away April 18, 2015. He was the husband of Josephine Egan Maguire. He leaves behind two children and two grandchildren.

William James Nott, 91, of Portsmouth, passed away April 10, 2015, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, Mass. He was the husband of Marie (Santangelo) Nott. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He earned the Bronze Star for valor during WWII. He leaves behind his children Michael Nott (Shanon), James Nott (Linda) and Thomas Nott, all of Portsmouth; Paul Nott (Kim) and his daughter Patricia Maggiacomo (Michael); seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He was buried with military honors in the Portsmouth Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 806, Portsmouth, RI 02871.

Donald R. Silvia, 75, of Portsmouth, passed away April 16, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, Mass. after a brief illness. He was the husband of Priscilla (Bradley) Silvia. He leaves behind three sons, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Donations in his memory may be made to the Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Fund, P.O. Mary Jeanne (Conheeney) Sullivan, 90, of Newport, passed away April 20, 2015 at home. She was the wife of the late Lt. John Sullivan. She leaves behind four children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held April 24, 2015 at St. Augustin Church at 10 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Potter League for Animals, P.O. Box 412, Newport, RI 02840.
