Here We Come A-Caroling

According to Buddy the Elf, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loudly for all to hear," and last week members of the public joined with the Thompson Middle School Chorus and Music Together founder Christopher Carbone to do just that. The all-ages group began at Colony House and strolled down Broadway serenading area businesses and residents before arriving at City Hall. The spirited singers went from office to office in the municipal center to the delight of city employees. They also stopped by the Newport This Week office just before deadline and provided a welcome respite in the midst of holiday issue chaos before continuing to the Firehouse Theater for refreshments.
