‘Art for All’ Returning to Bristol Art Museum

Two years ago, the nonprofit Bristol Art Museum started a unique fundraiser. Instead of a progressive dinner or silent auction, they decided to make it all about art.

“Art for All & All for Art” was a big success, and will take place again on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Bristol Art Museum. The exhibit will open at 1 p.m. with wine and cheese, and drawings will begin at 3 p.m.

Local and regional artists have generously donated works of fine art. Buying a sponsorship guarantees that you will take one home with you at the end of the exhibit. The works are displayed in advance so sponsors can choose their favorites. Then, at the exhibit, each sponsor’s name is drawn, in turn, and each selects a work of art; the process continues until all the sponsors have received one of the donated pieces.

The 40 works of art are valued in a range of at least $250 to, in some cases, many thousands of dollars. There are a number of sponsorships still available for $250. For more details, call Ray at 401-258-6160.
