The International Tennis Hall of Fame is kicking off the action-packed week of the Van Alen Cup tournament with Family Weekend, July 5 and 6, offering a slew of kid-friendly events designed to foster love of the sport among budding fans. Junior clinics, face painting, tennis carnival games, scavenger hunts, old fashioned photos, and guided tours of the museum will be offered in conjunction with qualifying rounds. Some of the world’s most exciting players will be heading directly from Wimbledon to compete in the tournament, including top ranked American John Isner and Australian superstar Lleyton Hewitt. Main draw play begins on Monday. Six-time Grand Slam champion Lindsay Davenport will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Enshrinement Ceremony on Saturday, July 12.
