A Celebration of History

Photos by Jon Dilworth Photos by Jon Dilworth On Saturday, June 21, spectators and marchers lined Broadway as the 375th anniversary parade made its way to Washington Square. Along the way, many attendees could be heard praising the spirited community event. Following the procession, hundreds enjoyed hot dogs, ice cream, and soft drinks at the good ol’ fashioned picnic at the Quaker Meeting House. A big thank you and congratulations goes out to everyone involved. Maybe we shouldn’t wait another 25 years before doing it again!
