Sailing Season Launched



With 189 teams competing, the 160th Annual New York Yacht Club Regatta was the largest turnout in the history of the event, which is the oldest regatta in the country. Many of the boats were preparing for the upcoming Newport to Bermuda Race, but one famous sailor, Australian John Bertrand, sailed in the Etchell’s class in preparation for the Etchell’s World Championship.
