Eagle Award

U.S. Senator Jack Reed was among the dignitaries, friends and family who recently celebrated the achievements of Boy Scout Troop 3 Newport’s newest Eagle Scout, Sean C. King. For his eagle leadership project, King chose Fort Adams Trust because of his personal connection of living at Fort Adams and his love of military history. His project created more publicly accessible space. They built a new storage space and moved maintenance items out of the old jail. He is a senior at Rogers High School and plans to pursue a career as an officer in the United States military.
