Archaeology Lecture

Join archaeologist and anthropologist Alan Leveillee at the Middletown Public Library on Monday, March 31 to learn how to distinguish one rusty old nail or pottery piece from the next. This presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. and offers an overview of the techniques archaeologists use, including radiocarbon dating, to determine the age of artifacts.

Leveillee specializes in presenting archaeological research to lay audiences. The lecture is free and attendees are invited to bring items for identification and approximate dating. Call the library at 401-846- 1573 to register.
