Do No Harm

To the Editor:

The collective obstinance of the unworthy members of the Preservation Society reminds us of children who will not listen to good advice from those who truly care to help them stop themselves from doing wrong or harm. We have reminded the members of the P.S.N.C. that the dictionary assures us that preserve means to keep from harm; so we expect them to do that with our city, state and national treasure.

The Breakers and its grounds are treasures needing to be in the keeping and under the protection of reasonable and responsible adults, not obstinate and reckless children.

Our Gateway Center is the only welcome center our visitors need and they have ample access to drinks, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Timothy McGuinness
