Saturday, Feb. 15

Ice Sculpting Demonstration Ice sculptors will use chisels, chain saws and blow dryers to create their masterpieces, 12 Long Wharf Mall, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., sculptures on display until they melt, free.

Chili Cook-Off Area restaurants, caterers and local fire departments compete to see who has the best chili in town, Newport Harbor Hotel, 49 America’s Cup Ave., 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., adults $10/$6 with button, children (6-10) $3/$2 with button, children under 5 free, tickets at door.

Festival Day at Easton’s Beach 11 a.m. Block Hunt, noon Polar Bear Plunge, and Sand Sculpture contest. Trophies for winners of sand sculpture contest, three categories for adult, children and family. Sculpting begins anytime after 10 a.m. All activities are free.
